Workers were busy Wednesday afternoon installing replacement letters over the entrance of Unity Temple in Oak Park. Back in September of 2010 most of the bronze letters that adorned the top of the entrances – reading “For the worship of God and the service of man” – were stolen, presumably by scrap metal thieves.
