Mildred E. Goldberg, 91, died on Dec. 5, 2011 in Barrington at the home of her son, Richard. Born on Dec. 2, 1920 in Chicago to Daniel and Grace McGinnity, she was a longtime resident of River Forest and Chicago. During her life, she was involved in many charitable organizations.

Mrs. Goldberg is survived by her children, Richard (Deborah) Graham and Robert (Barbara) Graham; her grandchildren, Larry (Jeanne) Wood, Renee (Nathaniel) Bushman, Suzanne (Steven) McFarlin, Michael (Jane) Graham, and Laura Graham; her great-grandchildren, Oliver and Helena Bushman, Claire and Tommy McFarlin and Nora Graham; and her cat, Enzo. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Goldberg and Walter Hepner; her sister, Catherine McGinnity and William Little.

Interment was private. A celebration of her life will be held on Dec. 28 at the Oak Park Country Club, 2001 N. Thatcher Avenue in River Grove from 5 to 8 p.m.
