OPRF High School senior Malachy Schrobilgen finished in the Top five at the 33rd Annual Foot Locker Cross Country Championship Midwest Regional held at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wis., on Saturday.

Schrobilgen, who is mulling over Wisconsin and Syracuse, finished fourth overall with a time of 15:12 on the 5,000-meter course, which qualified him to compete against runners from the Northeast, South and West Regional meets in the National Finals on Dec. 10 at Morley Field, Balboa Park in San Diego, Calif.

On Saturday, Schrobilgen will compete in the Nike National Cross-country Championship in Portland, Ore. He qualified for that meet with a 15:57.2 run at the Nike qualifying meet a few weeks ago.
