Gloria Lee (Funk) Weakley, 75, of Oak Park, formerly of Shelbyville and Decatur, died on Oct. 14, 2011. Born on June 7, 1936, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Kenneth Earl and Orah Downs Funk, she was a graduate of Shelbyville High School, class of 1954, and Millikin University. She worked as a pharmacist’s assistant at CVS Pharmacy.

Gloria Weakley is survived by her son, Kent C. Weakley; her daughter, Kim Lindsey and partner Sondra Elder; her grandchildren, Zachary D. Lindsey, Taylor A. Lindsey and Samuel J. Lindsey; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Funk; and her uncle, Daniel (Karen) Downs. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Stephen Funk.

Private graveside services were held on Oct. 20 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. There was no visitation.
