The Friars celebrated their own Senior Night with a victory at St. Ignatius on Friday. On Saturday, Fenwick finished fifth at the New Trier Relays.
The 400-freestyle relay team of Paulina Kaminski, Haley Wickham, Maureen Barron and Mimi Schneider set a new meet record at New Trier by finishing first with a time of 3:32.18. Schneider also set a meet record in the 100-freestyle with a time of 51.42 seconds.
“The meet went well overall, especially after playing a week of where-is-practice today,” said head coach Renee Miller, who added that she expects the Fenwick pool, which was shutdown two weeks ago by the health department, to reopen later this week.
