Dzevad (Jeko) Vukovljak, 56, of Oak Park, died early Sunday morning, Sept. 25, 2011 at home. He was born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzogovina on June 11, 1955 to Izet and Devleta Vukovljak. In March of 1980, he married his wife, Lana. They moved to the United States in 1994 and settled in Oak Park. They were blessed with 31 years of marriage.

A loving husband and father, Mr. Vukovljak was a successful, talented architect. He was the owner of VU Design in Oak Park and designed buildings all around the Chicago area.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Goran and Damir.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 29, 2011 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown and Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park, followed by a short service at 8 p.m. Interment will take place at 11 a.m., Oct.1, at Bronswood Cemetery, 3805 Madison St., in Oak Brook.
