Former OPRF High School wrestler Brad Bolen recently won two national judo tournaments.

Bolen won the 10th Annual Morris Cup in Burnt Hills, N.Y., back in May and added another win at the USA Judo President’s Cup in Vail, Colo., in early June. The 22-year-old Olympic hopeful is currently ranked No. 1 in the U.S. at 145 pounds.

Next up for the former Huskie is a trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the IJF Grand Slam, an international tournament worth points towards Olympic qualification for the 2012 games in London.

Bolen will also be giving a clinic on using judo moves in wrestling during the OPRF Relentless Pursuit Wrestling Camp running July 18-23.
