Please come for a conversation with three experts about mental health services for children, teens and families on June 12 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Veteran’s Room of the Oak Park Main Library, 834 Lake St., Oak Park.

The presenters are:

John Williams, Director of Youth Services for Oak Park and River Forest Township;

Diane M. Gilliard, LCPC, CADC, Therapist at Pillars Counseling Center in Oak Park;

Katherine Goldberg, MA, LCPC, Therapist and Manager of Youth Services at Thrive Counseling Center in Oak Park

John, Diane and Katherine have been resources for parents in our communities for decades. Like all social service providers in Illinois, their agencies have suffered budget cuts for years, and further cuts are expected in the current legislative session. These experts share our frustration that we can’t always find the services we need, and our dedication to the children and families of our communities.

Come discover what services are currently offered and let our mental health providers hear from you about our communities’ current needs.
