Former Wednesday Journal staffer and Circle Theatre alum Kelly Schumann made her television debut Thursday on NBC’s “Outsourced.”

Schumann, who is also a former River Forest resident, appeared opposite show star Diedrich Bader and interviewed him for a job at a high-end lingerie store. Bader at one point removes his pants during the interview to show off his “compression shorts.” He then asks a stunned Schumann, “Any chance you’re lovin’ this?” Schumann’s response – “No.”

Prior to moving to Los Angeles in 2008, Schumann regularly appeared in plays at Circle Theatre in Forest Park. She also worked as an advertising sales representative for Wednesday Journal.
