Ben Lewis scored the OPRF boys swim team’s only points at the IHSA State Meet held at New Trier High School in Winnetka last weekend.
Lewis, a junior, finished eighth in the diving event with a final score of 425.65, earning his team five points in the meet. OPRF finished in a three-way tie for 34th place.
Fenwick scored points in two freestyle events to finish with seven points, good for a tie with Buffalo Grove at 31st place.
Senior Connor Brown had a hand in both events, finishing 12th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.59 seconds and aiding the 200-yard freestyle relay in a 10th-place showing. Brown, Ryan Greenway, Justin White and Viken Huening finished the relay in 1:26.28.
New Trier won the state meet with 217 points, while Naperville Central finished second (163 points), and Normal University High School rounded out third place with 96 points.
