The other night I watched Antiques Roadshow and a mobile, yes a mobile, was tentatively appraised at $1 Million !!  Maybe you have something like this too.  You can find out on Saturday, February 19th at 2pm for a very nominal fee – $10 for one item or three items for $25.  The 19th Century Club at 178 Forest in Oak Park invites you to have your treasures examined by experts from Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, one of the Midwest’s leading fine art auction houses.  This event, “What’s It  Worth” is hosted by the Oak Park River Forest Historical Society, and they ask you to pre-register at either 708-848-6755 or www.oprfhistory.org .  This will be fun and educational.  Montalbano Majestic Furniture, located in Bellwodd will offer tips on refinishing and reupholstering furniture, Oak Park’s own, Barley Twist will be offering advice on decorating with antiques, and Forest Insurance Agency will address insurance needs.
