An Oak Park resident and former Columbia College professor was sentenced to six years in prison last week and a lifetime of supervision in a case related to child pornography, according to media reports.
In a story first reported by Wednesday Journal, Kevin Fuller, 43, was arrested in November 2009, after he e-mailed pornographic images of prepubescent boys and adults to others from a g-mail account. His Taylor Avenue home was raided, and federal authorities discovered more than 300 pictures of child pornography on his computer.
Fuller, a former professor of microbiology at Columbia, will spend six years in prison, and after release will have his computer activities monitored and tracked, according to the Chicago Tribune.
