OPRF’s Darius Henry, Devonte Mahomes and Sam Brooks wrestled their way to regional titles at the Class 3A York Regional on Saturday.

Henry, a sophomore, defeated York’s Denzel King 7-4 to win the 112-weight division, while Mahomes, a freshman, took first at 145 pounds with a 9-3 decision over Lyons Township’s Luke Polka.

Brooks, a defending state champ, forced a fall on Proviso West’s Julius Johnson to win at 171 pounds.

The Huskies, who as a team finished second with 178 points behind Lyons (213.5), also received help from Linear Vining, Cam Harris, Chirino Watson and Michael Woulfe. Vining finished second at 103 pounds, while Harris (119), Watson (135) and Woulfe (152) all placed third in their respective weight classes.
