The OPRF boys basketball team seemed to take some frustration out on Ridgewood in non-conference action on Saturday night in Oak Park.

A night after falling to West Suburban (Silver) Conference rival Hinsdale Central 61-49, the Huskies turned the tables on Ridgewood and upended the Rebels 66-43 in a makeup game that was originally postponed due to the recent snow blizzard.

Gabe Levin led the charge with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. The 6-foot-6 junior hit 8-of-10 field goals. Josh Lang added 12 points and Steve Ramsey 11 for the Huskies (10-7, 5-3), who as a team finished with a season-high 20 assists.

In the loss to Hinsdale Central, Brian Miller led OPRF with 11 points, while Ramsey and Lang finished with 10 apiece.

The Huskies jump back into conference action this Friday when they host Proviso West (7:30 p.m.) and travel to Lyons Township on Saturday (6 p.m.). Last month OPRF fell to the Lions, who are currently 8-0 in the conference, 76-56 at home.
