The Huskies took out its loss to Lyons Township the day before on three opponents at the Dundee-Crown meet on Saturday.
OPRF (10-7, 2-2) downed Prospect 51-12, Lane Tech 41-21 and Boylan 64-9. Trailing Lane Tech early, the Huskies won three bouts in a row. Devonte Mahomes (140 pounds), Michael Woulfe (152) and Joey Ariola (160) all secured wins for OPRF.
Chirino Watson won all three of his matches at the tournament, two by decision and one by fall.
On Friday, the Huskies lost to highly-ranked Lyons 35-24.
The OPRF boys swim team downed York 112-72 in a dual meet last week and finished seventh in the 12-team Al Gilbert Invitational held at Sandburg.
The Huskies won seven events against York. Kyle Patnode took first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.38) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:07.44). Patnode, along with Luke O’Connell, Nikita Bondarenko and John Verticchio, took first in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:44.22. O’Connell also took first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:05.84.
