The Fenwick boys swim team placed third at the 18th annual Al Gilbert Invitational held at Sandburg on Saturday.

Connor Brown tied for first with Naperville Central’s Patrick May in the 100-yard freestyle. Both swimmers finished in 49.27 seconds. Ryan Greenway, Viken Huening, Brown and Justin White placed second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:29.77. The 200-yard medley relay of Eric Bell, Jimmy Mullen, Rich Mueller and Greenway placed third in 1:41.75.

Brown, Greenway, Matthew Bresnahan and Bell took third in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:21.06.

Sandburg won the invite with 283.5 points, while Naperville Central rounded out second with 240.5. The Friars accumulated 210.5 points in the 12-team meet.
