It’s finals week, January 18th – 20th, at Oak Park River Forest High School. If your teen is looking for a little extra help – look no further than the Oak Park Public Library. Starting Sunday, January 16th and continuing through January 20th, the library is offering lots of support:
- Need a place to study? Study rooms are set aside for any teens or tweens who need a quiet place to study by themselves or do group work.
- Stumped on a problem? Ask a librarian for help. Unlimited resources are available including www.opplteen.org offering online tutoring.
- Want to learn how to use www.opplteen.org? Sunday, January 16th, between 1 – 6 pm, is the teen website launch. Come signup, discover online tools, and get your free giveaways!
- Want support? Maggie Wiggins, Teen Services Librarian, and other librarians on staff have the answers to all your questions. Maggie says, “If I can’t figure out the answer to your question, then we’ll go to www.opplteen.org and access an online tutor. I want to help you learn how to help yourself so that next time – you’ll know how to find your answers.”
Come by the Oak Park Library during finals week!
