First, on Wednesday, January 12 at 6:30pm, the Oak Park Library is screening “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. This oscar-winning film tellls the story of two warriors in pursuit of a stolen sword, with, of course, a love interest complicating things. On Sunday, January, 16 at 2 pm, you can be part of the first “Transported to Paris” series at the River Forest Library, 735 Lathrop, 366-5205 and www.riverforestlibrary.org . This week’s Free film is “Coco Before Channel” starring Audrey Tautou. The film explores Coco’s rise from obscurity to world-wide fame. This series will continue on specific Sundays through April.
