The Oak Park Gymnastics Center boys and girls USAG teams began their season with solid performances at the Hawaiian Pineapple Meet in Schaumburg.
The Girls Level 4 Team took first place with Claudia Guerrier (Level 4, age 9) taking first in the all-around, second on the floor exercises, vault and beam and fourth on the bars. Rachel Murphy (Level 5, age 9) took first on the floor, fourth in the all-around and fifth on bars.
The Boys Team also had solid performances. Max Gonzalez took third on the pommel horse, and fourth in the all-around and on rings.
