Kyle Patnode and Nikita Bodarenko helped lead the OPRF boys swim team to second place at the Downers Grove South Invitational on Saturday.

Patnode took second in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.53) and the 100-yard backstroke (55.58 seconds). Along with Patnode, Armando Lee, John Verticchio, and David Anderson finished second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:46.64).

Bodarenko took second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:02.54) and third in the 200-yard free (1:51.30).

Others who contributed to OPRF’s 372 points included Anderson (50-free, third, 23.93 seconds) and Ben Lewis, who finished second in diving with a score of 381.25.
