Fenwick girls basketball
Kyra Navarrete led the Friars to a 53-44 win over Lincoln-Way East. The senior scored 20 points and hauled down seven rebounds. Sarah Williams added 13 points and eight rebounds in the win.
Fenwick (9-1) host Schaumburg on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Trinity basketball
The Blazers had three players score in double digits to produce a 59-29 victory over Vernon Hills. Taricka Linzy led the onslaught with 16 points, while Alyssa Dengler finished with 14 and Megan Podkowa 13. Linzy also had eight steals in the win for the Blazers, who are 10-2 on the season.
Trinity travels to Whitney Young on Saturday.
OPRF boys basketball
OPRF fell to Evanston at home 53-49 in nonconference action. Josh Lang led the Huskies (5-2) with 15 points. KaDarryl Bell scored 12, while Steve Ramsey finished with seven.
OPRF shot 35 percent (17 of 49) from the field for the game and made 4 of 11 shots from the free throw line in the second half, including 3 of 9 in the final period.
The Huskies host Hinsdale Central on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
