George Harold Klumpner, 62, of Downers Grove, died on Nov. 23, 2010. Born to Dr. George Klumpner and Inger Olson Klumpner, 56-year Oak Park residents, he grew up in Oak Park and attended Longfellow School and Oak Park and River Forest High School.
He graduated from the University of Chicago and received a J.D. with honors from John Marshall Law School. He was designated an attorney of the Supreme Court of the United States and also of the State of Illinois.
George Klumpner is survived by his wife, Esther Tam Klumpner and his children, Dr. Thomas Klumpner and Susan Klumpner.
Visitation was held on Nov. 26 at Model Funeral Home in Darien. Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Nov. 27.
