This year’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner, hosted by the River Forest Community Center, entertained Y residents and guests of the West Suburban P.A.D.S. (Public Action to Deliver Shelter).

Volunteers and staff members of the YMCA, West Suburban P.A.D.S., River Forest Township and the River Forest Community Center organized the festive event that included musical entertainment and a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings.

Jewel Osco, 438 Madison St., and Trader Joe’s, 483 North Harlem Ave., provided turkeys and all the trimmings.
