If you’re looking for a little bit of everything, from belly dancing to ice sculpting, Lake and Marion is the place to be this weekend.
Downtown Oak Park is hosting its fourth annual WinterFest this Saturday, Dec. 4. It will get started with an international cookie walk that features 48 different businesses. The event will offer an avalanche of different activities, including caroling, a live Santa Claus, and free hot chocolate and cocoa.
“WinterFest celebrates both the diversity and community spirit that help make Oak Park special,” Pat Zubak, executive director of Downtown Oak Park, said in a press release.
The occasion will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, located along the three-block stretches of Lake and North Boulevard between Harlem and Marion. For more information, go to www.downtownoakpark.net.
