Geppetto’s Toy Box, the old-timey kids store on Lake Street near Oak Park Avenue, will be featured on an upcoming ABC news show.
Channel 7’s “190 North” recently paid a visit to the 5-year-old retailer. The program, which will air on Dec. 19, focuses on old-fashioned toy stores in the Chicago area, according to Geppetto’s co-owner, Brandy Masoncup.
The owner said the show will lead with their store and feature one other toy seller. They interviewed her husband, Eric, along with two customers on Monday, asking questions about the quality of the toys and the atmosphere, she said.
