Annual Cemetery Walk
This Sunday, Oct. 17 at 1 p.m. is the Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest’s annual Cemetery Walk, “The Tale of the Tombstones.” This 2-hour walking tour takes place at the fascinating Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park. The walk is guided by a cast of “resurrected” tour guides and is a local hit. Click here to find out more about this year’s cemetery walk on Doug Deuchler’s blog.
Lou & Peter Berryman at Oak Park Library
As OP-art blogger Val Camilletti puts it, “humor, outrageous puns, twisted wordsmithery” ensues whenever this accordion playin’/guitar strummin’ duo performs. Don’t miss this free, folk music performance at the Main Branch of the Oak Park Library, 834 Lake St., tonight (that’s Thursday) at 7 p.m. Click here to read more and watch the video on Val’s blog.
