On Tuesday, Oct. 5, Holmes Elementary School held its annual Harvest Dinner Celebration. More than 175 members of our school community enjoyed dishes incorporating the vegetables and herbs grown by the children in our school’s organic garden. We are proud of our garden, where our students have a unique opportunity to plant, tend and harvest their own veggies, herbs, fruit and flowers. We are equally proud and grateful to be part of a community whose neighbors support our efforts.

Thank you to Cucina Paradiso, Trattoria 225, Gibbs Family Farm, Trader Joe’s and Holley Court Terrace for your donations and collaboration. Thanks also to all our volunteers, our PTO and Principal Hackmiller.
