“Something Better Somewhere Else” is directed by Oak Parker, Ron Lazzeretti and will be screened at Lake Theater on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. The film is a collective tale of yearning and restlessness and asks the age-old question, “Why is my life so unlike what I imagined it would be?”

The film follows the story of people who go beyond their everyday lives in search of something better, in search of answers. This is a presentation of the Oak Park Area Arts Council. More information and tickets can be found at their site, www.OakParkAreaArtsCouncil.org. Also, check out the included trailer and the film’s site at www.somethingbettersomewhereelse.com.
