An estimated 200 people participated in Sunday’s anti-drug march and rally at Scoville Park to raise awareness about substance abuse among teens.
Organized by the Oak Park and River Forest Parent Action Committee, the march started at two separate locations early Sunday: Keystone Park in River Forest, and the tennis courts at Oak Park and River Forest High School. Carrying signs with the day’s theme—“Clean Mind, Clean Spirit”— the marchers ended up at Scoville Park for a rally. Sunday’s event was co-sponsored by the Oak Park Township Youth Services.
