Fifth place at the Prospect Invitational was a monumental finish for the OPRF tennis team on Saturday. The finish was the best in six years for the Huskies, who had three fifth place finishers in the 16-team tournament.

Samantha Schafer went 3-1 in the tourney to finish fifth at No. 1 singles. At second singles, Tress Trinka also scored a 3-1 record, losing only to Deerfield.

In No. 4 doubles action, Meg Ramette and Audrey Springer went 3-1, while the No. 2 doubles duo of Hannah Meyer and Kate McCole finished sixth with a 2-2 mark. The No. 1 doubles team of Emma Forman and Ann Ryan finished seventh overall.

In West Suburban (Silver) Conference action last week, OPRF downed Proviso West 7-0 but fell to York 5-2.

The Huskies host their own quad this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
