The first meeting of the school year of parent group APPLE (African American Parents for Purposeful Leadership in Education) is next Tuesday Oct. 5, at Oak Park and River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville.
Supt. Steven Isoye is the invited guest, along with Lauren Smith, OPRF’s director of human resources, and Tina Halliman, director of special education. The meeting takes place in the faculty cafeteria and starts at 7 p.m., proceeded by a dinner at 6 p.m.
