Oak Park Elementary School District 97 will host 10 public forums at its elementary and middle schools with Supt. Albert Roberts starting next Tuesday, Oct. 5.

The first of these “community chats” takes place at Mann Elementary School, 921 N. Kenilworth at 7 p.m. All are scheduled for 90 minutes and “will provide the staff, parents/guardians and neighbors from each school community with the opportunity to participate in an open, informal dialogue with the superintendent about a variety of issues,” according to e-mail blast last week from the district.

The remaining dates and times are:

  • Oct. 7 – Lincoln, 1111 S. Grove, 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 14 – Irving, 1125 S. Cuyler, 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 19 – Longfellow, 715 S. Highland, 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 21 – Beye, 230 N. Cuyler, 6 p.m.
  • Nov. 3 – Whittier, 715 N. Harvey, 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 4 – Hatch, 1000 N. Ridgeland, 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 9 – Julian, 416 S. Ridgeland, 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 10 – Brooks, 325 S. Kenilworth, 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 17 – Holmes, 508 N. Kenilworth, 7 p.m.
