Two day massacre: The Oak Park Hitmen completed five games in 33 hours on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11 to win the 13th Annual Cougar Classic in Vernon Hills. The Hitmen defeated Mundelein, Crystal Lake, and the K-town Sluggers from Kenosha on their way to the playoffs. The team (32-4) came from behind to down Pleasant Prairie (Wis.) in the semifinals and the Park Ridge Junior Hawks in the championship game.
