Gov. Pat Quinn shook hands at the Oak Park Farmers’ Market on Saturday. He was there to sign the Farmers’ Market Technology Improvement Act. It is intended to help connect sellers at farmers markets to low-income consumers who have LINK cards, the state-issued debit card for food stamp recipients.
