An Oak Park family is holding a yard sale Saturday to help raise money to adopt a blind Chinese boy.

Jill Baron, 32, and her husband, Joshua, are hoping to adopt 5-year-old Zach, who was abandoned by his family at age 2. The boy had both of his eyes surgically removed while staying at an orphanage in China because of a disorder called retinoblastoma.

Baron has also set up a blog about the effort, where donations can be made through Paypal.
