Village champs: The Lemley Chiropractic girl’s Bronco softball team captured the Oak Park Village Championship with a 5-4 win over A5, Inc. in 10 innings. The title winners were (left to right): Grace Devitt, Carly Johnson, Erin Duffy, Sophie Hayes, Katie Powers, Amanda Lopez, Kelly Thiese, Sofie Pedersen, Amanda Seltzer, coach Tony Santiago, Ellie Dolce, Josie Whisman, head coach Eric Johnson, Caitlyn Santiago, Emmy Socki and Jenny Craft.

Boys Broncos
After losing its first contest in the Bronco Division double-elimination playoffs, Knowledge Advisors won the next six games, including a 9-8 victory over Price Consulting for the Village Bronco Championship.

Max Gonzalez, who got Knowledge on the board in the first inning with a homer, scored the winning run on a steal from third base in the top of the seventh.

Kyle Jackson tossed three innings of one-hit ball for Knowledge, and Connor Lamb closed out the win with a strikeout.

Down 6-0 at one point, Price battled back to tie the game 8-8 in the sixth inning.

Before taking the title, Knowledge racked up wins against State Farm, Legacy Sports, Strikes and Optimist. They also defeated Price before the title game 7-6 in extra innings.
