River Forest Village President John Rigas last Thursday returned to the Oak Park and River Forest High School board he once served as a member and as president. Addressing the board during public comments, Rigas thanked the current board for its work and those retiring from the faculty and administration he worked with during his two terms on the board.
He also informed the board of his son’s graduation this month from the high school, thus ending his involvement with OPRF as a parent.
His main reason for coming that night, he told the board, was to thank the teachers and administrators for their many years of service to the school.
