Mr. William’s speculative assertions are incorrect. [Drug-dealing students should be arrested, Viewpoints, May 12] District 97 follows all community, state and federal laws, including contacting the police if drug sales are suspected. These actions would not be reported, however, due to student privacy laws, as well as confidentiality laws pertaining to alleged criminal acts by minors.
