The Chicago Sun-Times Glare column (penned by Oak Park native Bill Zwecker) noted recently that 8-year-old Julia Catacuta won an online contest sponsored by Mattel, which gives her the chance to shadow fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, who is all of 13 herself, for a day. Gevinson – an Oak Parker and daughter of OPRF High School instructor Steve Gevinson – is described in the column as a “fashion blogging phenom,” who was just named one of “Barbie’s 10 Women to Watch in 2010.”
