The Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200 Board of Education will vote on a contract for superintendent-designate Steven Isoye on Thursday at a special board meeting scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Isoye (pronounced e-SOH-eh) is the principal at Maine East High School in Park Ridge. He was officially named OPRF’s new superintendent on Tuesday morning. His start date is July 1.

OPRF Faculty Senate statement concerning new superintendent
The Faculty Senate of Oak Park and River Forest High School is pleased to learn that the District 200 Board of Education has extended a contract offer to Mr. Steven Tsutomu Isoye.
The range and depth of Mr. Isoye’s experiences are an excellent fit for the needs of our two communities and the faculty of the high school, and we believe that he has the personal and professional qualifications necessary to lead the district effectively in addressing the numerous issues that face our school community.
The Faculty Senate welcomes Mr. Isoye and looks forward to working with him.
