The old gray news shack, tucked under the Oak Park Avenue viaduct at North Boulevard has been removed, ending another cherished tradition and siphoning off a bit of Oak Park charm.
Here’s to Rick Meegan, the longtime proprietor and paper peddler. May he live long in memory.
