The OPRF girls track and field team took first in its final home indoor meet of the season against Wheaton North and Oswego on Saturday.
The Huskies garnered 105 points in what was the final home indoor meet for head coach Sarah McCabe, who, after 21 years at the post, is stepping down after the upcoming regular track and field season to spend more time with her family.
Ashley Parish took first for OPRF in the 300-meter dash with a time of 45 seconds flat. Other Huskies who won events included TeJuanna Williams (55-meter dash, 7 seconds), Marnie Kinnaird (1600-meter run, 5:32.27), Gift Onyenso (400-meter dash, 1:04.72), Katie Bell (pole vault, 9-feet), Raven Timms (shot put, 33-1.5) and Camille Range (triple jump, 32-4.5).
OPRF travels to York on Friday for an invitational. The Huskies will begin the outdoor season on April 6 at Hinsdale Central.
