We support Thomas Bilyk on Feb. 2 for judge of the 11th judicial subcircuit of Cook County. Together, we have been practicing law in Illinois for more than 50 years. We have both known Tom for over 15 years and trust that he will make an excellent judge.

Tom has great passion for his work, his family and his community. His opponents say that he is an honest prosecutor who never overreaches. As lawyers, we know that his experience is unmatched in this race. Tom has spent his 26-year career in public service as an assistant Cook County state’s attorney, and he has tried more than 70 felony jury trials and nearly 500 bench trials. Recently, he has taken on transforming our juvenile justice system as the chief of the Juvenile Justice Division for Cook County, spearheading initiatives that are powerfully affecting victims, offenders, families and communities.

Tom is a great dad, friend and neighbor. He cares about our community and its families by coaching and volunteering to help people in need, despite his demanding job. We know and love his wife and three children. And we are proud to support his candidacy. We ask you to do the same.

Vote for Tom on Feb. 2. Thank you for your consideration.
