This year’s Tradition of Excellence ceremonies honoring notable alums at Oak Park and River Forest High School takes place this Thursday and Friday at the school, 201 N. Scoville. This year’s honorees are: actor Thomas Lennon (Reno 911), a 1988 graduate; Warren Buckmaster, a 1948 graduate; and Olympic figure skater Aaron Parchem of the class of 1995. The annual dinner is Thursday evening, 5 p.m., and the school assemblies Friday morning, 8:45 a.m. in the auditorium.
