On behalf of the West Suburban PADS Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, we want to thank everyone who worked so hard and so generously to make the eighth annual PADS Progressive Dinner on Sept. 14 such a success. With almost 200 people joining us, we enjoyed a wonderful evening of great food and fun conversation, all while raising enough money to support one family in transitional housing for an entire year, prevent 20 families from losing their homes, or providing emergency food and shelter to people who have nowhere else to turn.

This evening could not have happened without our incredibly generous local restaurants. Caribou Coffee, Cucina Paradiso, Papaspiros, The Pasta Shoppe, the Scoville Square Building and Winberie’s opened up their doors and kitchens to us, providing all the food for the evening at absolutely no cost to PADS. As the only nonprofit organization in the near west Cook County suburbs solely dedicated to providing homeless prevention and support, we at PADS are especially grateful for this inspiring act of generosity.
