The daily delivery of the mail is one of the highlights of our sad lives. Further, just who are all the stupid dogs supposed to bark mindlessly at? If there are no post persons, then no one will bother to shovel their walks in winter. The wonderful phrase, “going postal,” will disappear from our language.

Getting rid of home delivery is just another small step toward an avatar society wherein we can live our entire lives online. At least the humans fight back in Terminator. Neither rain, nor sleet …
