Oak Park police arrested two Chicago drug dealers in separate incidents last week.

Roger Allen, 25, of 4423 W. Congress Pkwy., was arrested on the 5800 block of West Adams, the afternoon of July 7. Mario Whitfield, 27, of 5001 W. Ferdinand, was arrested in the same location, the afternoon of July 9.

Both men, who were allegedly selling heroin, were charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park (Columbus) and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Whitfield, who was paroled Feb. 17 from the latest of six drug possession convictions, was also held on a parole violation warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
