I was thinking this thought exactly! [New hotel should complement native Prairie-style architecture, Viewpoints, April 8] We pride ourselves as a village in our Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and Prairie-style architecture. It’s something we promote to visitors and villagers alike.
Why wouldn’t we have a new building blend into that style, rather than be a completely opposite style? Especially since it is on the border of one of the main Frank Lloyd Wright streets and in our downtown!
It makes no sense to me.
