It is a sad day for River Forest residents, who will now get exactly what they chose – more politics as usual. [Rigas rules in River Forest, news, April 8]
I hope everyone recognized that Catherine Adduci’s initial comments to the press included an uncivil slap at Trustee Hoke after she ran on a platform of civility. So much for civility, eh, Mrs. Ronan?
River Forest can expect more hypocrisy from its newly elected leaders in the next four years, as well as a continued decline in property values, increased property taxes and deficit budgeting.
River Forest residents may not have realized that that is what they were getting in this slate of candidates. They should have been more careful in what they asked for.
