Lucchesi backs Rigas’ experience

John Rigas has my strong endorsement for president of the Village of River Forest.

I have known John Rigas for years and we served together on the Oak Park and River Forest High School  District 200 Board of Education.  He was an excellent board member and has the personal qualities and the professional qualifications that would make him an outstanding village president.

John is a thoughtful, intelligent, open minded, hard working, dedicated public servant.  He knows how to run a meeting and how to foster open discussion in an atmosphere of collaboration which has been sorely missing at our recent village board meetings.

I know John represents the future and is a progressive, creative thinker. This campaign should be about the future and not finger pointing and harassment of individuals who will no longer be elected officials.  John follows through on his commitments, was always prepared for meetings and always showed respect for his colleagues and fellow citizens.

John Rigas is a leader. He has the qualities we need and the proven record in community service.  I applaud his willingness to continue to serve our community and support his candidacy along with Cathy Adduci, Jim Winikates, and Mike Gibbs for village trustees who also bring strong talents and a willingness to work together for progress in River Forest.
